Hiring with the 4-hour method
Attention Trade, Construction, and Service Business Owners!
Are you tired of wasting time and money on the wrong hires?
It's time to change your hiring system and try something new!
Our proven recruitment and induction system is based on attracting a large pool of applicants, implementing multiple screening levels, and observing a short list of applicants who perform the essentials of the position in real-time.
With our 4-hour method, you can hire the right candidate for your company in no time!
Here's a closer look at what each hour of our 4-hour method entails:
FIRST HOUR: Generate leads and develop a comprehensive job description. This involves outlining the roles, responsibilities, tasks, and duties required for the position and the necessary skills and qualifications. You'll also want to include information about your company's mission, purpose, values, and culture, as well as the contract and pay range, bonuses, career vision, and benefits.
SECOND HOUR: Publish the job and start networking. Look within your organization to see if there's anyone you can promote, ask your employees for referrals, post a sign in local cafes and other relevant places, send a newsletter to your database, utilize a recruiter/headhunter, and network with everyone as every conversation is an interview.
THIRD HOUR: Start screening your leads. Analyze the applications you received and consider the skill set, behaviour, and personality of each candidate. Develop a shortlist of candidates and arrange a first short round of interviews. Identify the most suitable candidates, include existing team members in the review of candidate performance, and ask the selected candidates to do a quick skills test if possible.
FOURTH HOUR: Complete your recruitment process and hire the right candidate. Interview the selected candidates and review their assessments. Develop questions about their past jobs, future plans, personality, and behaviour. Ask the same questions to each candidate and rate their response. Select the best candidates for the final stage, complete HR assessment, negotiate salary and make an offer, and complete the hiring contract.
Say goodbye to under-qualified candidates and hello to your ideal staff member with our 4-hour method!
